This stunning antique Garnet brooch features a rich glowing Garnet cabochon centre surrounded by a halo of 19 rare and pristine rose cut Garnets.
Made during the Victorian era, around 1850, it's very typical of the time. They just loved the richness of colour and play of light in juicy cabochon Garnets, and we have to say we do too!
The brooch is a fairy dainty size but it is quite eye-catching day or night. It's a beautiful way to adorn a jacket lapel or cardigan, to fasten a silk scarf, or at the neck of a crisp white shirt. And it's also really cute threaded onto a short Gold chain or velvet ribbon and worn as a pendant!
This gorgeous Garnet brooch would also make a fantastic conversion piece to a ring or as a necklace.
All in all, a rare and unique item that would make a perfect gift for antique jewellery lovers!
