Hallmarked to 1880, this Victorian aesthetic Silver engraved swallow locket is a treasure from the late 19th century! A generous size, measuring just under 50mm long, this impressive antique locket is a true statement piece.
The bright Sterling Silver boasts a foliate engraved panel, adorned with a symbolic swallow -a bird associated with good luck and safe travels! Complete with a chunky bale, this Victorian aesthetic locket has so much beauty to behold!

Condition:
GOOD-VERY GOOD: This Victorian aesthetic Silver engraved swallow locket is in very good condition. All the engravings on the front are clear and crisp, we admire the intricate craftsmanship! There are some dings on the back of the locket commensurate with age, which cannot be seen whilst the locket is being worn. Please note that although the locket doesn't fully shut with a "click", once shut, the locket stays securely closed. A full set of hallmarks are visible to the back of the locket, along with a lion passant stamped on the bale! All in all, a wonderful Victorian aesthetic locket to add to your collection.
