This splendid Victorian Aesthetic Silver book chain locket is a rare and beautiful find, from the late 1800's. It's made from finely crafted Sterling Silver and features two pieces which you wear together, or separately as you wish.
The locket itself is an extremely fine example of Victorian repousse work with gorgeous accents of 9ct yellow and Rose Gold. The blooming roses seem to come to life looking at the intricate and detailed design!
It's quite a large locket, measuring 4.5cm long excluding the large bale, so is very much a statement piece. Ever versatile, it can be worn on a simple Silver chain for a more casual, under-stated look too!
The pretty beaded edge on the locket is mirrored in the book chain collar, and simply exudes Victorian style.
The antique book chain is a multi-link necklace with a wonderful three-dimensional quality. What's great it that the links flex as you move, so although it looks very dramatic it lays flat on the neck and is quite comfortable to wear.
A great conversation starter, you'll gain major style kudos with this locket and choker combo!
