VERY GOOD / EXCELLENT: This Victorian Aesthetic Silver book chain and locket is an exceptional quality piece that's as near to perfect as you could possibly ask for an item over 130 years old! The front of the locket is absolutely flawless, no dents, dings or imperfections of any kind. The skilled repousse work and beautiful Gold accents remain as beautiful as they were when it was first made. You can still see each mark in the finely engraved leaves and roses.
Inside the locket there is one original glass and one original Silver frame. The frame has sadly been broken but still keeps your photographs in place quite effectively. The bale is strong and durable, as is the over-sized bolt ring. The bolt ring itself is working perfectly, and springs back into place when let it go.
