A beautiful antique 9ct Gold Opal ring in exceptional antique condition!
This pretty little Opal ring may be small, but what she lacks in size she more than makes up for in style! Made at the turn of the 20th Century, it combines stylistic features associated with Victorian jewellery (such as the stylish split shoulders), with the feminine details of Edwardian jewellery (such as the fine claw setting), and has the most stunning antique Opal.
The Opal is cut en cabochon so it's tactile and smooth to the touch and has a lovely, pretty setting. It's claw-set like a dainty crown, and the back remains open so you can see the Opal in its entirety.
As well as being a lovely thing to look at this is also quite reassuring, as we can see this Opal is a fine, vibrant and solid piece, rather than an inferior doublet or triplet substitute. Day or night this Opal is full of life and will draw all eyes to it in admiration.
A perfect gift for any occasion, it's beautiful, comfortable, and the scrolled shoulders add a touch of class!

EXCELLENT: This beautiful antique 9ct Gold Opal ring is absolutely sublime! There are no areas of damage or significant wear and the Opal itself is a treasure! It's really vibrant and smooth to the touch and set securely in a halo of Gold prongs. The Opal isn't chipped, cracked, crazed or worn, which is unusual for a ring of this age, and is 100% natural and untreated. What's more is the band hasn't thinned to the back, so it can be worn regularly with confidence. All in all, a very pretty, comfortable and stylish antique ring that's sure to bring a smile to your face whenever you put it on.
