A rare and very pretty shield-shaped locket from the Edwardian Era, crafted in 9ct Rosy Yellow coloured Gold.
This lovely antique locket is extremely decorative and beautiful! It features intricate hand-engravings featuring scrolled acanthus leaves and roses to the front, and to the back a stylish geometric patterns and what looks like sunflowers... (sigh!)
Unlike many lockets from this era this one is solid Gold throughout, including the frames and hinge, which is very rare indeed.
It's a unique antique locket in exemplary condition, and would make a lovely addition to anyone's jewellery box.
