This shimmering antique Silver Paste pendant is an exemplary piece of turn of the Century design. Circa 1905, it perfectly combines Art Nouveau and Edwardian influences to beautiful effect.
As you can see the pendant is inspired by nature, with elegant flourishes of leaves, flowers and tendrils. It has all the beautiful proportions of the Art Nouveau era, as well as it's fine craftsmanship and dainty textured detailing.
Made from solid Sterling Silver, set with countless hand-cut and set Paste gemstones that twinkle delicately in the light!
The pendant is made from three separate articulated pieces, so it moves freely and has a lovely lightness and elegant feel to it that you just don't find in modern jewellery.
If you look at the back of the star-spangled bale you'll see it's open at the back, so it's easy to add a simple Silver chain or a velvet ribbon. Similarly you can attach it to an existing antique brooch for some real swag!
The chain pictured is not included but can be added on request.

This wonderful antique Silver paste pendant is simply beautiful, and in exemplary condition for its age! Circa 1905, all parts are original antique and completely free of damage. And, (as with most pendants) there is no real wear and tear at all. The pretty Paste-set bale is still elegant and strong enough to wear with confidence.. All of the Paste gems are secure. They do vary ever so slightly in colour on close inspection- much like Diamonds would have in that era- but are still have a nice amount of brightness and sparkle to them. Truly, a most bewitching pendant for evening wear... and when you really want to shine!
