This 9ct Gold Edwardian heart locket is so romantic with its embossed scrolled border and sweet swallow bird in flight! What could be more darling than a Gold, heart-shaped locket with a picture of your beloved inside?
This antique 9ct Gold locket has an original photograph of a dashing young chap from the early 1900s inside and was most likely worn by his sweetheart.
This locket would have been a romantic gesture of love, symbolised by the swallows engraved on either side of the locket faces (yes you can wear it two ways!) These swallows also represented the desire for your sweetheart to return home to you safely. How romantic!
Its warm golden yellow tone evokes that feeling of love, and the delicately embossed border adds such beauty to this already charming locket. We're certainly head over heels in love with this locket, has it tempted you too?
