This authentic antique Silver locket was made during the Victorian era and is fully hallmarked for the year 1884.
As you can see from the photographs it's steeped in history with a glorious dark aged patiina and the original glass and lock of hair inside.
It's one of the most unusual we've found to date, with a rare rectangular shape and pretty cannetille detailing in the shape of a lucky horseshoe. It's also rare for lockets to open up vertically like this one does.
The locket is a wonderful size for everyday wear and has a lovely ethnic or Boho look about it.
Looks great worn on a simple silver chain for day or evening.
Chain pictured is not included but can be added at the checkout.
