The minute details in the ring shoulders are super crisp, and the hallmarks are clear and easy to decipher too, so we can confidently date this ring to 1824. Under a magnifying loupe you can see some minute wear to a few of the Jet gems, but this is hardly noticeable when worn and all of the gemstones are snug.
