This pretty Silver Victorian horseshoe locket has a three dimensional "puffy" or domed oval shape, and the most beautiful and romantic details!
It's a decorative thing with embossed (or "repousse") studded horseshoe, and has been painstakingly engraved by hand with intricate leaves and flowers. The horsehoe represents luck, and as luck has it it catches the light just so, so it looks beautiful on.
This horseshoe locket is has a very unusual design and what's more is it has the rare and collectible English Silver hallmarks.
The Silver locket holds two small photographs and is a wonderful size for everyday wear. It has a lovely feminine look and would make an ideal good luck charm or gift to a blushing bride-to-be.

This is a beautiful Silver Victorian horseshoe locket in excellent condition for its age. The pretty embossing and engraving is still crisp and clear and there isn't a single dent or ding to be seen. The locket opens properly and closes with a satisfying "click", so you can be sure your photographs will be safe inside. There are two original frames inside, (one hallmarked), and one original glass "window". Inside there are some small scrapes that a previous jewellery has carried out to test the metal, and these will be hidden as soon as you add your own photographs. All in all a lovely Victorian Silver locket, ready to wear straight away!
