We rarely see items of this age in such fantastic condition, and this beautful Georgian brooch Pearl mourning brooch really seems to "speak" to us here at Lillicoco. It's dainty, sweet and regal, with tons of authentic antique charm!
All of the Pearls are antique and original, and have a stunning metallic silver lustre. As you can see from the images provided the decades have not dulled their shine! The glazed panel has a slightly frosty look due to it's age and minor surface abrasion, but you can still see the intricate hair-work beneath, and there are no chips or cracks to the glass. There is a tiny flea-bite in the glazed panel which is extremely small, but something to be aware of, and this hasn't affected the beauty or longevity of the piece. The lovely initial to the back are still crisp and easy to read- keeping the memory of "EW" alive for us all to admire.
