This heavy Silver Albert chain necklace is easy to wear but really makes a statement!
It's 16.5" long, and with nearly 60 grams of solid Sterling Silver the chunky links feel comforting as they rest elegantly below your collar bone.
The necklace has two matching dog-clips, which are always a welcome addition to any jewellery lovers wardrobe!
The chunky Silver T-bar is suspended from the necklace by an additional chain, which means it can move to and fro along the length of the chain for your comfort.
What's more, is the T-bar and both dog-clips bear the same set of hallmarks- meaning the whole necklace is completely original and has been in the same configuration you see now for almost 100 years!
ERA: Art Deco, c.1924
MEASUREMENTS: 16.5" or 42cm long.

The chain that suspends the T-bar is 5.5mm.
The T-bar is 41mm wide.
The dog clips are each approximately 23mm long and 8mm at their widest point.
MATERIALS: Sterling Silver.
HALLMARKS: Every link along the chain is stamped with the Lion Passant for Sterling Silver. The T-bar and both the solid Silver dog-clips are also marked with a Lion Passant, date letter "y" and Maker's Mark "B&S".
VERY GOOD: This lovely heavy Silver Albert chain necklace is in very good condition, with only minor wear commensurate with age.
The links are robust and chunky, and age has given it a softer appearance instead of the highly polished look you'd get with a new chain. Some of the hallmarks are obscured, but if you look closely you'll see each ink is stamped with the Lion Passant for Sterling Silver. The dog-clips both work well and close securely so you can wear it with absolute confidence that it will stay safe all day long!
