This heavy antique 18ct Gold Bloodstone shield signet ring is a marvellous Edwardian ring, fully hallmarked to the beginning of King Edward VII reign. Inlaid with a deep forest green Bloodstone shield, we can imagine this piece being a fantastic graduation gift.
Symbolic of strength and masculinity, the shield was a protective motif and sought after style in antique men's jewellery. However today, this ring can be worn by anyone. The inside of the band has smoothened to comfortably hug your finger, and the deep hallmarks reveal a rare Chester Assay.
