HALLMARKS: "9", "375', Birmingham assay, date letter "W" for the year 1921. Maker's Mark "W.J.D". The front of the pendant has a beautifully engraved scrolled monogram "A" and "P". Inscribed back to commemorate a sporting achievement "C & D.B & W.L- HIGHEST POINTS- 1ST DIV: 1921-1922."
EXCELLENT. This 9ct Gold fob medal is in excellent, near mint condition! The 9ct Gold is lustrous, and the engravings are beautifully crisp. The crown motif is crisp and has kept its shape well. To the back of the pendant, the engravings all the way from 1921 are still clear and legible. The hallmarks are deep and clearly underline the age of this heavy fob medal as over 100 years old! What a find!
