This Georgian Silver flat top Garnet roundel brooch is an exquisite piece! Inlaid with stunning raspberry pink flat-topped Garnets, this brooch is stylistically dated to the end of the 18th century.
Don't you just love foiled Garnets?! The colour and luminescence of these Garnets have stolen our hearts, and they just come alive when paired with the moody patina of the Sterling Silver. The openwork design of the brooch is elegantly shaped into a central flower, crowned by a wreath of leaves.

EXCELLENT: This Georgian Silver flat top Garnet roundel brooch is in fantastic condition for its long life! Considering that this brooch is 240 years old, it's really extraordinary that there is hardly any signs of wear. We believe that all of the Garnets are original to the piece, each securely set, and free from abrasions. Plus, the foils are also immaculate. We believe that this brooch did originally have a Gilded back, which has worn from age. That being said, this is a fine collector's item from the 18th century.
