These darling Georgian 18ct Gold black dot Paste cluster earrings are a testament to the fine craftsmanship of the Regency era.

They have a charming (and ever-popular!) daisy style and elegant 18ct yellow Gold hooks that keep the drops firmly in place. The Silver closed back settings are typical of the time, as is the use of high carat Gold and Silver together.

The Paste or "Strass" gemstones have been made to such a fine quality that you can still see the hand-painted little black dots in the centre of each- simulating the natural characteristics of Diamonds.

CONDITION:

VERY GOOD / EXCELLENT: These Georgian 18ct Gold black dot Paste cluster earrings are in extremely fine condition, with only a little light wear commensurate with their great age. The heart and soul of the earrings, the gorgeous antique Pastes, are all original. The hooks and settings are secure and stay in place nicely when worn, so you can wear them from day to night with complete confidence.

The Paste gems are all well matched, although one is ever so slightly cloudy when compared to the rest when looking very closely. This is very subtle indeed but is worth mentioning for some of you Paste aficionados! (You know who you are!) With earrings as rare and beautiful as these we're pretty sure no-one will notice.

Please note the earrings have been professionally sterilised.
