VERY GOOD: This Georgian Opaline black dot Paste cluster pendant is in very good condition throughout. Originally starting life as a brooch, she has been lovingly converted to the most wearable pendant. A highly collectible piece, her lovely opaline glass is in excellent condition. The Black Dot Paste are also in very good to excellent condition; free from any chips or cracks, but there is minor discolouration giving some of the Pastes a light apricot hue. However, you can still see all the hand-painted black dots, a rare feature only found in genuine Georgian Paste. All the stones are completely secure, with the Silver settings around the edges completely "airtight". There is some fairly heavy wear to the back, including a few prominent dings in the centre and some discoloration of the metal, but this is not visible when the pendant is worn. We find this rare Georgian treasure a true delight!
