GOOD. This Georgian Garnet Paste Witches Heart Brooch is in good condition! The brooch pin back was most likely added in antiquity in the late 1800s, but the brooch itself is much earlier in origin dating back to 1790! There are one or two replacement gems where the hearts meet at the top, but this is not unusual considering her age. Some variation in colour between the Black Dot Paste is visible, but if we take into consideration that this piece is centuries old, she has kept incredibly well overall!
