This Georgian cross pendant is such a stunning example of how beautiful Rock Crystal can be! It's not often that you come across something like this.
We love the fancy cut stones which glimmer and glint beautifully. They're closed-back, as per the style of the time, and each of the stones has been foiled to give them so extra oomph. Each stone also has those wonderful black dots that are an iconic period feature. Add to this the two-tone Silver & Gold settings and you have a wonderful piece of Georgian jewellery!
This pendant is almost 200 years old, made when Britain was just emerging as the first industrialised nation in the world. To hold it in your hand or around your neck is to feel the weight of history held within its prismatic stones. A true link to the past!

EXCELLENT: For something so old, this Georgian cross pendant is in phenomenal condition. The stones are completely free from damage or wear. Many pieces like this are made in paste, which is softer and often becomes worn over time. This piece however has stayed nearly pristine! The foil behind the stones makes the Rock Crystal flash with champagne tones from certain angles, but none of the stones are dark or browned. It's a gorgeous piece of jewellery, ready to be worn and treasured!
