Make a statement wherever you are with this stunning genuine Georgian Cross pendant!

One can only imagine the delectable parties this antique pendant has seen in its life, being swung across the room at a masquerade ball twinkling fiercely as it catches the candlelight with every turn.

Black dot Pastes were made by painting black dots on the foiled backing to create the illusion of collate facets of old cut Diamonds. It was a popular process during the 19th century and is highly collectable today, it is rare to find a piece in such great condition!

It features the French guarantee marks used between 1798 and 1809, solidifying its Georgian provenance.

This Georgian cross pendant would look great paired with a thick Silver chain, or even better yet, set on a velvet ribbon around your neck.

CONDITION:

EXCELLENT:  This Georgian cross pendant is in fantastic condition, it's hard to believe it was created two centuries ago! All the Pastes are in perfect antique condition with only slight signs of wear on close inspection, and their foiled backings are all bright and clear free from any tarnishing or signs of ageing. The Silverwork is immaculate and all the settings are in fine working order, keeping all the Pastes securely in place. The only thing to mention is evidence on the back of a previous brooch conversion which has later been removed, this in no way takes away from the piece as it's invisible when worn. Please refer to the photo of the back on the pendant. All in all a fantastic genuine piece of antique jewellery just yearning to be enjoyed again!
