With glorious cannetille Gold-work, the natural carnelian has a beautiful rich colour and natural variations in colour add interest and depth. The Carnelian is set securely, beautifully smooth and glossy, without any fleabites chips or nibbles.
There is some evidence of glue to the back of the Carnelian, but this is common practice in both antique and modern jewellery to ensure longevity of a piece. The C-clasp is in perfect working order, meaning you can wear this piece with the utmost confidence! Considering she is over 200 years old, this is a remarkable piece!
