EXCELLENT. Especially when considering her grand age, this Georgian 9ct Gold foiled Garnet riviere necklace is in remarkable condition. Each Garnet is present and secure, with a myriad of red hues dancings from their flat-cut facets. The Garnet to the right of the central Garnet has a small scratch on the surface, however, this is only noticeable under very close inspection. As each Garnet is foiled, it is important to avoid contact with water or humid conditions as this will damage both the stone and the foiled backs. The tones of Gold vary from blushed to golden which can be seen on the back of each setting, and we feel this only adds to her antique charm! With a clasp that shuts with a click, she’s ready to add a flourish of elegance to all seasons.
