This Georgian 9ct Chalcedony Intaglio Fob would make an exceptional addition to your jewellery collection. Her beautiful milky Chalcedony boasts a French inscription which reads "lisez et croyez", translating to "read and believe".
Paired with a sealed letter motif, we can just vision this fob being used in the 1800's to seal the most important documents! A seal would give the recipient an idea of the contents of the letter, making "read and believe" all the more meaningful.
This remarkable piece has been crafted from 9ct gold and her ornate Gold work forms her unique pillar. Elegant and lightweight, this Georgian fob is a wonderful wearable piece of the past.

Her Chalcedony is secure in its settings, the intaglio is crisp and clear with only has a minor few scuffs commensurate with age. Her 9ct Gold has some age related wear, but processes a desired rosey hue! We adore sentimental pieces from the past, and this Georgian treasure is no exception.
