This Georgian 18ct Gold Perpignan Garnet drop pendant is absolutely stunning, a rare treat from the early 19th century. Inlaid with a fruity 3.15cts mixture of rare Perpignan and flat cut Garnets, this pendant will instantly bring a feminine and flirtatious twist to a necklace stack.

This pendant is shaped into a Gothic drop bow design, and we can imagine her once being sewn into the corset of a regency heiress, or part of a larger suite of Georgian jewels. The top of the pendant is likely to be of French provenance, whereas the bottom half is steeped in English history.

Condition:

VERY GOOD: This Georgian 18ct Gold Perpignan Garnet drop pendant is in amazing condition for her 200 year life. The finished pendant is likely an antique conversion piece, with rare French Perpignan Garnet top and sweet English flat cut Garnet bottom. Nevertheless, altogether it makes a striking pair, and you can be confident that no one else will have a piece quite like this! There is one small ding to the back of the pendant, but as this is the only sign of wear for her long life this is remarkable.
