We are in awe of this sensational Georgian 18ct Gold pansy flower ring, which comes complete with its own antique ring box, accredited to "W. R. Cave" Goldsmiths. A 19th-century ring rich in romantic symbolism, pansies are believed to symbolise love, making her a delightful gift.
Bursting with natural gemstones, her pansy is inlaid with an array colourful gems. The delicate petals are formed by two Ruby Red Garnets, one lilac Amethyst and two pale olive Chrysolites, haloed around a dainty Garnet centre. Each gemstone is foiled beautifully enhancing their natural colour.
Her pansy sits within charming 18ct Gold shoulders, adorned with floral flourishes and beaded detailing - a testament to the exquisite craftsmanship seen throughout the Georgian era. Not to mention her antique box which we admire in its own right, boasting a cream satin inner and a plush royal blue velvet cushion, the perfect abode for a piece of such great age.
