This Georgian 15ct Gold Pearl cluster mourning hair brooch is an exquisite piece of antique mourning jewellery. This brooch is inlaid with its original milky seed Pearls, with a unique two-tone woven hair work at the centre.

Brooch suspends for 23mm from top of the jump ring. 
Pearls graduate from 1.5mm diameter to 2mm diameter.
Hair work panel 10mm long x 20mm wide.
Weight: 6.3g. 

MATERIALS:  Solid 15ct Gold, 9ct Gold Cased over Metal, Solid 9ct Gold jump ring, Seed Pearl, Blonde Hair, Brunette Hair. 

HALLMARKS: Tests as 15ct Gold brooch with 9ct Gold cased over Metal pin. Jump ring tests as solid 9ct Gold. 

Condition:

VERY GOOD: This Georgian 15ct Gold Pearl cluster mourning hair brooch is in superb condition throughout. Considering that this piece is potentially 200 years old, it is fantastic that she has remained in such good nick! The two-tone braided hair has kept very well indeed, and all of the Seed Pearls are snug. There is some imperceptible wear to the 9ct Gold case on the back of the brooch, however this is obviously concealed when worn. Lastly, the pin is in perfect working order, so you can wear this piece with the confidence it deserves!
