We simply love this Georgian 15ct Gold Carnelian Carved shell brooch! This piece consists of a beautiful marmalade hued Carnelian gemstone which has been carved in the shape of a shell and set in a sweet crimped 15ct Gold border.
This wonderful antique Gold brooch can be worn on the lapel of your blazer for a touch of Georgian splendour or on your scarf for a pop of colour.

MEASUREMENTS: Brooch is 25.5mm long x 22.5mm wide x 6mm deep.
Carnelian is 21mm long x 18mm wide.

HALLMARKS: Tests as 15ct Gold body with 12ct Gold pin.
Condition:
VERY GOOD. A splendid Georgian 15ct Gold Carnelian carved shell brooch in very good condition! The Carnelian gemstone has been beautifully preserved, with no damage and a bright marmalade orange hue. The Gold border is equally glorious, keeping the stone safely in place, and the brooch is complete with a pin which attaches securely onto the clothing.
