We have never seen anything quite like this Georgian 15ct Gold Amethyst snake mourning seal, complete with an antique split ring! Crafted from deliciously glossy 15ct Gold, her body is a dainty looping snake with fine engravings creating each of her scales.
In true Georgian style around her base display wordings commemorating Frances Andrews, the individual to whom this piece of Georgian mourning jewellery is a tribute too. Her Amethyst boasts a spectrum of purple hues throughout and has an urn motif intaglio in her centre. On the urn reads 'Elle fut Ainsi', a French moto which in translation means 'She was like this'.
This Georgian Gold fob is packed with antique charm and is accompanied by an antique split which also details fine floral engravings throughout.
