This enthralling Arts and Crafts Silver Chrysoprase necklace crafted by hand and we can see by its fine condition that it's been well looked after for over a Century!
Chrysoprase or green Chalcedony was said to be the favourite gem of Alexander the Great, and we can see why! Its vivid apple-green colouring is juicy and enticing, and its glowy, waxy lustre and high dome look amazing from all angles!
The Chrysoprase sugarloaf is complimented by a subtle play of tiny polka dot enamel on the Silver setting, and of course, the drop is fully articulated so it can bob and sway with elegance as you move.
This fine antique Chrysoprase necklace isn't hallmarked but, based on the delicate black and white polka dot enamel-work is likely of French origin.

EXCELLENT: This Arts and Crafts Silver Chrysoprase enamel necklace is in very fine condition. The luscious green Chrysoprase is perfect and is set firmly in place. These large and high domed antique cabochons are often found loose or with a bit of wiggle in the setting, so to find one this bright, beautiful and secure it testament to its fine craftsmanship! The enamel is also immaculate! There is no loss or wear to either the enamel nor the gem, and the integral Silver chain appears to be original and in good working order with a working bolt ring fastener.
