This beautiful antique oval locket was crafted by hand during the late Victorian to Edwardian era, circa 1900. It's made from Sterling Silver and features a pretty decorative engraved pattern in typical Edwardian style; with fine detail, stylized geometric shapes & lace-like edges.
It's a large size, measuring 3.5cm wide and 6cm long when including the bale, so is certainly more of a statement piece. The slightly domed surface not only catches the light but feels lovely in the hand, but is still fairly flat so isn't at all cumbersome in spite of it's size.
This locket is a great gift as it's large enough to add your own photographs, or even a romantic message inside.
At over 100 years old it's in good ready to wear condition, and looks great on a simple long chain.
Please note the chain is not included with the locket.
We have a great selection of Silver chains of different lengths & styles. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.
