You can’t get more classic than this Edwardian Sterling Silver heart locket! Featuring all of the familiar flourishes of the era, this is the perfect piece for an antique jewellery enthusiast. The sweet and chubby heart is covered in highly detailed ivy leaf engravings, symbolic of togetherness and everlasting life and love across history, from the Victorians to the Greeks and Druids.
Alongside the ivy, the front panel bears a shield with ornately engraved initials “EY”. The history of this piece is faintly scratched into the border of the locket on the reverse side, reading: “My Darling Ellen Christmas 1912 With Love From Dick”. We simply adore the sentimentality this antique heart locket holds with a secret message from sweethearts!

VERY GOOD. This Edwardian Sterling Silver heart locket is in very good condition with very little wear for her grand age of 119! There are some very light surface dings but these aren’t noticeable among all the detail of the locket. She snaps closed firmly and still has both original frames, ready to hug your own portraits in place.
