If you want to amp up your vintage vanity table, this gorgeous Edwardian Silver Repoussé multi ring box will do just that. With space for four of your favourite rings, this decorative box is fully hallmarked to 1904.
There is nothing quite like the charm of antique jewellery boxes. This box itself has intricate Silver repoussé details with deep curls, flowers and even a blank cartouché centre. Inside the box, you are met with plush emerald green velvet and teal satin lining - a gorgeous colour to compliment Gold and Silver rings!
ERA: Edwardian, c.1904.
MEASUREMENTS: Box 81mm long x 29mm wide x 35mm deep.
MATERIALS: Sterling Silver, Green Velvet, Pleather.
HALLMARKS: Maker's Mark "B.I.D.C", Birmingham Assay, Lion Passant, date letter "e" for the year 1904.
VERY GOOD: This Edwardian Silver repoussé multi ring box is in superb condition. As can be expected from an antique ring box, there are some little signs of wear to the Pleather as this is a softer material than precious metals! Nevertheless, you can be confident that this box will still hold her beauty for many more years. What is quite interesting, is that there is a sweet white button underneath the velvet. We can just imagine an inquisitive child popping the button through the ring crevices, giving this piece an unexpected but all the more enchanting addition!
