This Edwardian Gold cross pendant is such a fine piece of antique jewellery. Caressed by stunning engravings with a blank cartouché at the centre, this cross could be worn at a variety of occasions. Plus, this piece is hallmarked to 1909!
We love the intricate detail in these engravings; swirling shapes effortlessly curl across the front of the cross and a pretty flower and neoclassical lyre just peeps out the bottom! Just add this beauty to a chunky Gold chain or dog clip for a glamorous look.
ERA: Edwardian, c.1909
MEASUREMENTS: Cross 38mm long x 23.5mm wide x 3mm thick.
Length of cross including bale and jump ring 45.5mm.
MATERIALS: Solid 9ct Gold.
HALLMARKS: Maker's Mark "AW", "9", ".375", Birmingham Assay, date letter "k" for 1909.
VERY GOOD: This Edwardian Gold cross pendant is in stellar condition. The front of the cross is flawless, with all of the engravings crisp and intact. As can be expected from an antique pendant, there is one tiny ding on the back from wear, yet this is not noticeable when worn and does not detract from its majestic look and feel.
