This Edwardian 9ct Gold Medal harks from a time when winning a Gold medal really meant being awarded a real piece of precious metal!  And what a beautiful medal this is.  The shield motif is a classic feature of these fobs, and although they are often found with an inscription on the back this one is a blank slate!

What a beautiful gift this would make, perhaps for a son or daughter who had just achieved a major milestone.  The perfect present for a special Birthday, a graduation or a wedding!  You could even have it engraved with a special message or memento for extra sentimental value.

We love the attention to detail in the ornate design, the original antique hallmarks still visible on the back and the gorgeous colour of the Gold, which is a warm rosy yellow that you only ever see in genuine antique Gold.  Beautiful!

If you wish to add a chain to make this into a necklace then just pop us a message!
