This wonderful Edwardian 9ct Gold locket is a sweet and versatile little thing!
It's a small locket measuring just over two centimetres in diameter so it's perfect for daily wear, and we've added a brand new solid 9ct Gold chain so you can wear it in complete confidence that it is safe.
The chain measures 16" or 40.5cm long and is fully hallmarked to indicate solid Gold. (Not Gold plated or rolled Gold!)
The locket is also hallmarked on the back which dates is to the year 1910- right at the end of the Edwardian era.
There are delicate engravings both back and front; a garland of flowers... buds on the trees finally coming into bloom, and the finest little hand-engraved swallow bird you ever could wish for!

HALLMARKS: The locket is hallmarked "SBROS", "9", ".375", Birmingham, date letter "l" for the year 1910. The bolt ring is also marked "9", ".375" for 9ct Gold.
This pretty Edwardian 9ct Gold locket is in excellent condition- ready to wear and enjoy! The bright yellow Gold has a wonderful shine and no real wear to speak of. The metal is lustrous with no deep scratches, and the fine engravings are still crisp and beautiful. The locket also opens and closes tightly, and has two original portraits inside! Both the locket and jump ring are original antique. All in all a fantastic piece of history in great shape to be enjoyed for many years!
