This beautiful English Silver Fob medal was awarded in the year 1950 in the East Sussex town of Selmeston for excellence in cricket. Featuring a wonderful scene of a gent in detailed 3D relief, inside a Tudor Rose motif which is repeated in miniature between each petal.
Not only is it a wonderful piece of history, but a beautiful item in its own right.
It looks great as a pendant on a simple Silver chain, or could even be used as a key-chain for both ladies and gents.
MEASUREMENTS: Measures approximately 28 wide x 32mm tall.
MATERIALS: Sterling Silver
HALLMARKS: The Lion Passant indicates Sterling Silver and "TF" the Maker, Thomas Fattorini. The Anchor shows the item was assayed in Birmingham, whilst the Date Letter "Z" tells us the item was made in the year 1949.
