9ct Gold Art Deco Zircon Necklace c.1920

Blue Zircon jewellery was incredibly popular throughout the Art Deco period. Famed for its unique icy blue colour and radiance, real Zircon (not to be confused with the later, man-made Cubic Zirconia) is a rare and beautiful gemstone. It shares the same refractive index as Diamonds, meaning it has the same fire and dazzling brilliance we see in fine Diamonds!

This 9ct Gold Art Deco Zircon pendant has a pretty double drop design that trembles gently as you move and rests just below the collar-bone.

The chain and settings around the gems are rosy Gold and the floral detail 9ct White Gold.

It's an elegant, feminine piece that's both delicate yet striking. Although it would fit almost any occasion we feel it's perfect as a wedding gift or part of a wedding outfit- bringing "something old" and "something blue" for luck!

CONDITION:

EXCELLENT:  The condition of this Art Deco Zircon pendant necklace is excellent, so it's ready to wear. The pretty Zircon gems are pristine, with no scuffs or chips at all. Zircon is a soft gemstone so can often be found scuffed or with significant wear, but these two are beautiful! They have a lovely icy sky blue colour with pretty green undertones and the sparkle is gorgeous! The integral chain and settings are also perfect.
