This Austro-Hungarian Silver knotted chain is a finely detailed and textured chain to have in your collection. Crafted from solid Silver throughout, this chain has a large hook clasp making it easy and elegant to wear. 

This antique chain is in keeping with the 19th and early 20th-century European design movements, with a distinct Arts and Crafts era influence within the alternating knotted and bow-shaped links. This chain is a wonderful way to connect you with the past, plus it looks very cool too!

ERA: Austro-Hungarian, (1867-1922)

MEASUREMENTS: Chain length 24 & 1/4" or 61.5cm. 
Chain width graduates from 3mm wide at the bow-shaped links and 5mm wide at the knotted links. 
Clasp 15mm long.
Weight: 15g. 


HALLMARKS: Hungarian hallmark on jump ring. 


EXCELLENT-VERY GOOD: This Austro-Hungarian Silver knotted chain is in fabulous condition for its age. There is some minute wear across the chain, but this is hardly noticeable when worn and it enhances its antique allure. A lovely Patina has accrued on all of the links, giving this piece a moody feel. Plus, the Patina makes the all-important hallmarks nice and crisp!
