This Austro-Hungarian Silver Garnet Paste & Pearl drop pendant is exquisite. In true Austro-Hungarian fashion, the piece is rich in splendour and decadence, sure to become a point of conversation at a dinner party!
The front of this striking antique pendant features two incredible Paste gemstones, which effortlessly mimic the appearance of Garnets. A wreath of oak leaves adorn the front, symbolising wisdom and strength, and dotted across are four crisp Pearls. The back of the piece is equally splendid; with gorgeous openwork and sweet forget-me-nots!.

Main portion of pendant is 34mm long.
Drop is 15mm long.
Square red Paste gemstone is 8.5mm long x 8.5mm wide.
Oval red Paste gemstone is 7mm long x 5.5mm wide.
Pearls graduate from 2mm to 3.5mm in diameter.
Weight: 9.5g.
MATERIALS: Solid Silver base with a layer of fine Gold across the top, Paste, Pearls.

VERY GOOD. This Austro-Hungarian Silver Garnet Paste & Pearl drop pendant is in very good condition. The pendant has very little sign of wear, and both its front and back are divine. The front features two red Paste gemstones and Pearls, all beautifully preserved, and the back has some stunning openwork! The gilt has been immaculately preserved and she has stood the test of time remarkably well. We imagine this piece looking incredible with a Gold chain!
