Description:

SOLD!

This is one of the coolest pieces, an Art Deco Silver Enamel scarab beetle brooch with Egyptian hallmarks on its pin! This vibrant piece is inlaid with duck egg blue Enamel, and has a Scarab beetle at the centre for that true Egyptian touch.

The Art Deco period saw a large increase in Egyptian style jewels, after the discovery of the tomb of Tutankhamun in the early part of the 1920's. We think this charming piece will look fabulous as a pop of colour with any item of clothing!

Condition:

VERY GOOD. This Art Deco Silver Enamel scarab beetle brooch is in very good condition. The colour on the Enamel has retained its lustre over the years. There is minimal wear to the piece overall, only some very subtle wear to the Enamel. The brooch wears securely, and the pin has Egyptian hallmarks on it! The back of the brooch is not perfect, and there is some darkening around the hinge and c-clasp, but this won't be visible when worn!
