This Art Deco Ballerina Medal pendant is potentially one of the cutest medal pendants we have found! Crafted from Sterling Silver and with a 9ct Gold ballerina at the centre, any dance-lover would adore this pendant.
This lovely medal is hallmarked to 1937, with the inscription "Belle Vue Dance Festival 1938 1st Prize" and we can just imagine what joy she originally brought to her owner. Belle Vue was a prestigious ballroom,outdoor dancing arena and historic zoological gardens in Manchester, dating back to the 1850s. This medal is just a slice of Manchester's history and of a budding dancer's passion, hopes and dreams.

VERY GOOD: This Art Deco Ballerina medal pendant is in fantastic condition throughout. The pendant has kept its shape very well, with only some reasonable surface wear to the back of the pendant. The gorgeous ballerina relief is still full of life, poised within an emboitté position and the 9ct Gold has accrued a lovely rosy finish from age.
