This authentic antique Silver spinning fob pendant was crafted just after the Edwardian period came to a close, and is fully hallmarked for the year 1913.
As you can see from the photographs it's a really pretty, decorative piece that's just full of charm, and we love the lucky horseshoe.
It's one of the most unusual we've found to date, with a pretty embossed setting engraved with a beautiful bouquet of flowers.
The locket is a wonderful size for everyday wear and has a lovely feminine look. It would make an ideal good luck charm or gift to a blushing bride-to-be.
Looks great worn on a simple silver chain for day or evening.
Chain pictured is not included but can be added at the checkout.
ERA: Post-Edwardian c.1913
MEASUREMENTS: The fob measures 28mm wide x 32mm long, not including the bale.
The Carnelian and Bloodstone gems are 18mm in diameter.
MATERIALS: Sterling Silver, Carnelian, Bloodstone
HALLMARKS: Makers Mark "H.W.A", Birmingham anchor assay mark, Date letter "O" for 1913-14, Lion Passant for Sterling Silver
CONDITION: Very Good
This antique Silver spinning fob pendant is in wonderful condition for its age! The fob spins freely all the way round and the Bloodstone and Agate gems are still beautiful. There are no chips or cracks to the stones, although if you look closely there are two small flea-bites to the very edge of the Carnelian. There is also a small ding to the horseshoe motif on one side, but this doesn't detract from the beauty of the piece, and the horseshoe on the other side is perfect!
