We are always obsessed with the earthy tones of natural Scottish Agates, from verdant forest green to rusty red and dappled inclusions. This brooch is an unusual "Dirk" brooch, which was a traditional Scottish brooch that was crafted into the shape of a dagger, and worn as a symbolic oath and allegiance to the crown by Scottish officials.
ERA: Victorian (1837-1901).
