We adore an antique crescent Moon brooch here at Lillicoco, and this one is a really fine example.
A genuine antique and beautifully romantic, it was made circa 1900 and has a lovely curved shape and flattering proportions. Whether worn as a brooch or gently hung on a chain as a pendant it looks stunning.
The Paste gemstones are set in solid hallmarked French Silver, all with a gorgeous sparkle, and the back is gilded with a warm toned Rose Gold which gives the piece a pretty rosy glow.
The Pastes are all old mine cut like just like old antique Diamonds, and would make a perfect gift for those who love the look of glamorous antique jewellery.

MEASUREMENTS: The brooch measures 40mm x 27mm.
The Pastes graduate in size, from 2mm in diameter at the ends to 3.5 in diameter in the middle. It is 4mm at its widest point.

CONDITION: Very Good to Excellent
This pretty antique Silver Paste crescent moon brooch is in lovely condition. There are no chips, missing or replaced stones and only minor abrasions to some of the facet edges under x10 magnification. These are not visible with the naked eye. The Pastes are all beautiful; they're still nice and bright and full of sparkle!
