This antique Silver Albertina bracelet has a lovely presence and manner about it. The intricacies of the embossing and the delicate tassel really draws you in wanting to know more about this charming bracelet.
It's held together by three decorative Victorian Silver chains centred with a beautiful Silver Hamsa Hand bead. The Hamsa Hand symbolises good luck to those who wear it, supposedly bringing you a healthy, happy, fortunate life!
The Victorian aesthetic drew inspiration from other countries exotic beliefs and ideologies like the Hamsa Hand, originally a Middle Eastern symbol, and wanted to be part of it themselves so you will often find these symbols in Victorian Jewellery.
The chains wrapped around the wrist and the tassel delicately falling next to it is such a lovely sight. Worn on it's own as a bracelet or you could add similar bracelets together to make a fabulous boho necklace!
