This gorgeous Victorian Silver Paste brooch is a fabulous and unique heirloom gift or treat that will keep you smiling each time you wear it! It features row upon row of gorgeous, Diamond-like gems in a dazzling 10 armed star.
Crafted during the late 1800s, each Paste would have been assessed and cut by eye, and then hand-polished so they sparkle like Diamonds! If you peer at them long enough you'll realize they are all unique, with lovely high domes and foiled backs for added brightness and life.
We love the way they've been cut chunky, with high tables and steep edges to mimic beautiful old cut Diamonds! Set against the dark aged patina of the Silver they look absolutely wonderful.
A stunning example of Victorian Paste jewellery, this beautiful antique star brooch exemplifies why we are so fascinated with antique jewellery today. It's chic, versatile and it has the indescribable charm of something you just know is precious.
Beautiful as it is, as a brooch... but would also convert well into a real "kapow!" ring or a quirky necklace.
