This Georgian Citrine and Paste brooch is brimming with mystery and intrigue... It's beauty such that it's hard to believe it's nearly 200 years old!
The brooch has been crafted with the ultimate care. Each stone was discovered, cut and polished by hand, then hand-set with a keen eye for detail.
The Paste gems are really beautiful! They still have a gorgeous brightness and sparkle, and combined with the rich yellow of the Citrine and Gold look just stunning!
Here at Lillicoco, we've always had a soft spot for brooches. They're so sweet and versatile... You can wear them on a shawl or light pashmina, to secure a billowing silk scarf, or pinned neatly at the collar of a shirt or blouse for a fabulously regal and sophisticated look.

VERY GOOD: This beautiful Georgian Citrine and Paste brooch has stood the test of time and is offered in very good condition. All of the Paste gemstones are original to the piece and have a great sparkle and fire, just like Diamonds! The dark aged patina of the Silver only adds contrast to their brightness.
Like the majority of antiques this brooch does show some signs of her long life. There is a small scratch on the Citrine, but luckily this is on the back rather than the front so is not noticeable when worn. The facets are well cut and combined with the yellow Gold claws the golden citrine looks fabulous! The pin also works perfectly and is strong enough to use even on thicker fabrics.
