A tremendous antique Garnet & Pearl earring brooch suite. Just a stone's throw away from the Lillicoco Office, this suite is presented in an antique box from a jeweller on college green, in Bristol, over two centuries ago, making it all the more special!
This demi-parure suite consists of a pair of screw-back earrings and a brooch, each with a delectable display of foiled flat-cut Garnets and soft silky Pearls. The name 'Dottie' and a date has been engraved to the back of the brooch, so we imagine this suite to have been gifted to a very special lady.
With its undeniable feminine allure, vampy reds and floral clusters, we adore the fact that this Georgian suite can be kept safe in its antique box, allowing you to cherish its original history.

Earrings:
28mm long.
Flower cluster is 11.5mm in diameter.
Drop is 14mm x 13.5mm.
Garnets graduate from 3mm in diameter to 7.5mm long x 5.5mm wide.
Pearl is 3mm in diameter.
Brooch:
27mm x 17mm.
Flat cut Garnets are 4mm in diameter.
Pearls are 1.5mm in diameter.
MATERIALS: Tests as 9ct Gold Earrings & Brooch, Metal pin, Flat cut Garnets, Pearl.
STAMPS & HALLMARKS: None present.
PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.
Condition:
EXCELLENT. A stunning suite in excellent condition! This gorgeous suite looks just as good now as when it was first created over two centuries ago. The gems are all secure and free from any chips or signs of wear! The Pearls are silky soft and luminous. The pieces all come complete in their original box, and look fabulous together. We think the earrings have had screw-backs added at a later date, and they still wear comfortably in the ear. The box is lovely and the inner royal blue lining is very plush!
