What a magnificent find! This antique English Silver "icicle" scent bottle is like nothing we've seen before, rich in Victorian character.
The glass has been beautifully crafted, with details to adore at every angle. The Silver lid is equally splendid, engraved with the initials 'M" and 'J', so we can only assume that this was once gifted to a very special someone. Victorians used to make their own personal fragrances from natural products, such as lavender or mint, so you can bring her into the 21st century by adding your own favourite perfume!

MEASUREMENTS: Scent bottle is 12cm long from top to bottom.
"Icicle" is 10cm long, 21mm wide at the top, tapering to 6mm on the bottom.
MATERIALS: Sterling Silver, Glass.
HALLMARKS: Lion passant for English Sterling Silver, Birmingham anchor assay mark, italic date letter "b" for 1876. Maker's mark "L&S". The cap is also stamped "STERLING".
EXCELLENT. In excellent condition, this antique English Silver "icicle" scent bottle would look fabulous of your chest of drawers! Due to the fragile nature of antique glass perfume bottles, pieces like this are often damaged, but this one is in near perfect condition. The cap and internal stopper are all original and have remained beautiful, and hallmarked to 1876 we're sure she has plenty more life in her yet!
